Demi Lovato stripes it up in a red and white sweater as she walks around The Grove with her bodyguard in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon (February 1).

The 17-year-old singer just returned from London where she was promoting her new single “Remember December” off of her sophomore album, Here We Go Again.

Demi and BFF Joe Jonas will be performing a private concert at Epcot Theme Park next week on February 11th.

Bird Houses For Charity

Sonny costars Sterling Knight and Allisyn Arm show off their completed birdhouse which is a part of Disney’s Friends for Change Habitat program.

Through May 2010, Disney’s Friends for Change is focused on protecting our one and only home base - our habitat! As part of the program, Disney worked with National Audubon Society to create the BIRD FEED pledge which helps kids understand just how important birds are to the environment and asks them to join together to create an important haven for neighborhood birds.

The birdfeeders are eco-friendly & handcrafted of natural cedar using zinc chromate screws and were decorated using eco-art supplies and Coccoina glue (made with an almond based paste).

You can even win one of the birdfeeders being decorated by other Disney Channel stars like Tiffany Thornton, Gregg Sulkin and Debby Ryan. For more info, log onto Disney.com/ProjectGreen.

Demi Acutions For Hati With Miley

Miley Cyrus is holding an auction to raise money for the Red Cross in support of Haiti. But Miley isn’t the only big name. Her best friend, Demi Lovato, is auctioning off things, too.

Demi will auction off her tour wardrobe, not sure which pieces she’ll auction off yet. Hugh Jackman, Whoopi Goldberg, and more will also auction things off.

All of the proceeds will go to the Red Cross. Love that Demi is helping Miley out! Go HERE to find out more.

In other Demi news, she will be on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday (February 3) to bring awareness to the U.S. Census. It is part of the Voto Latino program she did in January.

Finished up with a lengthy stay overseas, Demi Lovato was spotted leaving her London hotel and heading to Heathrow Airport on Friday (January 29).Always stylishly dressed, the Disney darling was in true rock chick form while sporting denim hotpants, a leather jacket, fishnet tights and matching boots.Making her way back to Los Angeles ahead of the weekend’s Grammy festivities, the “Camp Rock” cutie signed autographs for her fans and posed for pictures before hopping into a chauffeured ride.Making for a special moment, Miss Lovato also received a gift from one of her fans - who drew a portrait of her and framed it – to which Miss Lovato had nothing else to say but “Wow!”

2009 really put Demi Lovato in the spotlight: her second album sold more than 100,000 copies in America (!) and she worked with big names like the Jonas Brothers and John Mayer. But comfort with success hasn't always come easily for Demi. Demi revealed she used to do whatever other people told her, without really considering what she wanted. She explained, "In the first movie, [my character] didn't really know who she was. Which is funny because that's how I felt when I shot the first movie too." Demi felt nervous about showing her true personality by dying her hair dark black or wearing red lipstick. "In the second movie my hair was darker, my character was more confident, and so was I."Now Demi takes that confidence and channels it into her music. She talked about her opportunity to work with John Mayer: "I wasn't really intimidated meeting him, I was intimidated working with him," she admitted. As they worked together longer, "I got less intimidated, and was giving more of my input and not really being afraid to say what I felt and if I didn't like the lyrics I'd be like, 'Listen John...Sorry these aren't working out for me,' " she said jokingly.In 2010 Demi will enjoy the spotlight with the confidence she gained in 2009: "It doesn't matter the size of the audience whether it's thousands of people or hundreds as long as I'm playing music I'm having the best time ever."Watch her interview on Studio 5!

Demi is Estaic Over Kelly Clarkson

Demi Lovato has revealed that she gave Kelly Clarkson three hugs the first time she met her.

Speaking on Live From Studio Five, the 'Remember December' star explained that she has been a fan of Clarkson since watching her on American Idol.

"Once when I met her and then I was saying goodbye and I gave her another one... and then she was walking away and I was like, 'Can I have one more?'," she said.

"She's my idol, so getting to meet her was incredible. I've loved her since the first episode of American Idol, so when I got to meet her I was ecstatic."

Discussing the pressure of being a role model, she replied: "I never looked up to Kelly Clarkson because of her being perfect. I looked up to her because no matter what she went through, she had class and I feel like she stayed talented.

"She never was arrested or anything like that and you didn't see her in the tabloids for dating a lot of people. She really kept low and had a really great career and for me, I don't feel pressure as a role model. I just want to make sure that no matter what situation I'm in, I come out of it a stronger person."
